Beginning Friday, September 18 “The Dogon” photo series will be on display in the Tjuvholmen neighborhood of Oslo. The photographs will be on display in a storefront on the Tjuvholmen Alle, most recently the host of a private Damien Hirst collection. The store is closed to the general public but personal tours may be arranged by calling +47 95 03 51 50 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
The photos remain in Tjuvholmen until the week of October 19th, when they will move to Blomqvist Kunsthandel, Oslo’s oldest and largest auction house. “The Dogon” will be exhibited and celebrated at Blomqvist from October 24th to November 1st. Norwegian Foreign Minister Jonas Gahr Støre will preside over the opening of the exhibition.
The proceeds from the sale of this limited edition of Stuart Franklin photographs will benefit the Voss Foundation with the potential to fund another 10 water projects.
