Q&A with Margaux
What inspired you to start your own fundraising campaign? Is there anyone you would like to dedicate it to, or any special event that motivated you?
Our purpose in life is to help others and inspire change in communities around the world. Change starts with one person and creates an on-going ripple effect. When I heard about Voss Foundation, I jumped at the chance to get involved. It is so easy for us to take for granted resources that come abundantly to us, like water. We brush our teeth with it, use the toilet, wash our dishes and cars with it; it’s easy to forget some people don’t have such easy access to this vital resource. That’s why I am proud to be working with Voss Foundation, raising awareness not only of their non-profit organization, but of the need to build clean water wells in Sub-Saharan Africa.
As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, I believe drinking water is one of the most important things we can do for our bodies and our health. Water is vital for life! Without it, our well-being can deteriorate very rapidly. Water helps flush toxins out of our system, helps us regulate our body temperature, lubricates our joints, and empowers our body to heal naturally. Early signs of dehydration can include fatigue, anxiety, cravings, and cramps. Long term signs can include joint pain, migraines, chest pains, severely dry skin, and many other serious symptoms. Everybody deserves to feel their best and operate at their full potential. That’s why we need to make sure clean water is available for everybody to enjoy, in all parts of the world.
What do you feel is the most important message to share with others about the need for access to clean water in Sub-Saharan Africa?
You can make a big difference in the lives of others just by getting involved and donating to this important cause. Building water wells contributes more than just bringing water to those in need. A well helps to build a community; improves the economy, betters schools, increases health care systems, and does so much more. How and when did you first learn of Voss Foundation?
I have been a long-time drinker of VOSS Water, not only because I believe in staying hydrated during the day, but because this brand uses glass bottles to contain their water. I always keep these bottles, wash them, and reuse them again and again! My love of VOSS Water was what led me to discover Voss Foundation, and I’m so glad that I did!
What do you hope to accomplish through this campaign?
It is my goal to raise awareness and donations about this important cause to not only my local community here in Portland, Oregon, but to my fans around the world. Let’s work together to build an Authentic Self Wellness Well, bringing clean water and hope to those in need!
