VOSS FOUNDATION
Voss Foundation is dedicated to providing access to clean water, sanitation and hygiene as a means to enable community-driven development in Sub-Saharan Africa, and raising awareness of the ongoing need in the region. Founded by the directors of VOSS of Norway ASA as an independent 501(c)(3), Voss Foundation has offices in New York and Oslo. Since our inception in 2008, Voss Foundation has funded 154 water access points and 467 sanitation facilities in Kenya, Mali, Ethiopia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Liberia, Swaziland, and Uganda (as of December 2016)
WOMEN HELPING WOMEN
Women Helping Women (WHW) or “Kvinner hjelper Kvinner,” in Norwegian, is a Voss Foundation global, grassroots initiative that brings together champions of clean water to improve the lives of women and their communities worldwide. Since 2009, the WHW network has raised over $950,000 to fund 32 water access points and 291 sanitation facilities in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Kenya, Liberia, Swaziland, and Uganda. In addition to Women Helping Women San Francisco, 2017 WHW events will be held in the Hamptons, and New York City.
