Women Helping Women (WHW) is a Voss Foundation global, grassroots initiative that brings together champions of clean water to improve the lives of women and their communities worldwide. The WHW network has already funded five water systems in Kenya, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Liberia and Swaziland. When circumstances permit, WHW donors have the unique opportunity to travel to project sites and meet the women and communities they have helped. In addition to the New York luncheon, WHW events take place in Boston, San Francisco and Europe.
WHW exemplifies the strength of individuals to change the world. Every donation is like a drop of water – as each woman contributes her share to form a whole water system for a village, so do individual drops of water come together to quench the thirst of thousands. Every droplet, every contribution, every woman is necessary for the whole.
